Paying for software and online courses with USDT: what to expect
A growing number of SaaS tools, design apps and course platforms accept USDT or USDC for subscriptions. The checkout follows the same pattern as other crypto orders, with a few points specific to recurring software. This page covers the mechanics only; it is not financial advice and says nothing about prices.
The usual flow
- Pick a plan and create or sign in to the account the licence will be attached to.
- Choose the cryptocurrency option at checkout. Some vendors send you to a payment processor’s invoice page; others show the invoice themselves.
- Select USDT or USDC and the network. See which network is which.
- Send the exact amount before the timer ends and wait for confirmations. The how to pay checklist has the details.
Things to know
- No automatic renewal. A crypto payment normally buys one term. Set a reminder and pay the next invoice before the plan lapses.
- Seats and upgrades. Check whether adding seats or changing plan mid-term needs a new invoice, and how unused time is treated.
- Invoices. If you need a receipt for your company, ask whether the vendor issues one for crypto orders and which details it needs before you pay.
- Refunds and trials. Read the refund terms first; trials and money-back windows can differ between card and crypto orders.
